Fairholme House

This new build period property is set close an 18th Century, Grade II listed Cottage, taking inspiration from it’s traditional design features, but constructed using modern building techniques in order to meet current building regulations.

The new build property has a mix of period and modern features such as:

  • A thatched roof with dormer windows

  • Thatched lean-to porch, supported by stone columns.

  • Exposed oak roof beams internally

  • Stone window surrounds, including the mullions and label mouldings. These are thermally broken mouldings with double-glazed panels

  • Brick chimneys & stone fire surrounds, including a full-height opening for an Aga

  • Heating comes by an air-source heat pump, with underfloor heating throughout

  • Natural blue lias rubble stone external finishes
